Pipgrove

Privacy

Pipgrove keeps your data on your iPhone. Your check-ins, cravings, notes and settings are stored on the device and in your own iCloud device backup. We do not run a server that receives them, and there is no account.

We do not sell or share personal data and we do not track you across apps.

Purchases are handled by Apple. We use RevenueCat to confirm whether your subscription is active; it receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase receipts, not your check-ins.

The barcode scanner looks products up in Open Food Facts, an open database. Only the barcode number is sent. Product data is © Open Food Facts contributors, available under the Open Database License.

To improve the app we count anonymous usage events with TelemetryDeck, such as "SOS finished" or "paywall viewed". They use a random install ID, never your name, email, notes, food or check-in contents, and cannot be used to identify you.

Buddy streak is optional. If you link with a friend, Pipgrove stores your first name, a random buddy code and the dates you checked in (not what you logged) in the app's public iCloud database, so your friend's app can show your shared streak. Stopping the buddy streak removes the link.

You can export or delete all of your data at any time in Settings.
